"Don't do that" is a way of forbidding the dog to do something. No matter what it is, he should stop doing it. It only applies for the moment, not for the rest of your dog's life, as with "No".

"Fie" is the word to make something taboo. The dog is never allowed to do the thing labeled "fie" again. (Chasing, eating feces, bed, etc.)

Running
