General Terms and Conditions

1. exclusion of liability The instructions, suggestions, tips and advice of the trainer do not lead to any liability. The participant is liable for all damage caused by him, his family members or the dog he has brought to the lesson. Any joint liability of the trainer is excluded. The participant always decides for themselves whether they wish to carry out what the trainer recommends.

2. participants In all Marc Welti dog training courses, the family members who live with the dog permanently are always taught. Outsiders, i.e. people who have their own household, possibly with their own dog, can book their own course if they are interested. It is not permitted to pass on login details or bring people to the training course who do not live in the same household as the course participants.

3. location Physical training takes place in the dog's natural environment. (forest, field, meadow, city) Care is taken to ensure that there are no excessive distractions at the beginning. A visit to the client's home is not necessary, as the problems are also visible and treatable for the trainer outside the home. The training sessions take place in Fällanden ZH and Bülach ZH. Seminars and courses outside of these locations can be booked at an additional cost.

4. costs The costs for the training are to be paid with a single payment or in installments (by arrangement). The costs for follow-up lessons, trial lessons and seminars are paid in cash or by TWINT on site.

5. right of return The customer waives any right to a refund of the course costs from the time of the first payment. Agreed installment payments must be paid in full in all cases.

6th trial lesson In the trial lesson, we do not work on the dog's issues. The purpose of the trial lesson is to get to know Marc and to clarify any open questions regarding his training. The philosophy and procedures are also discussed. The client's dog and the owner's behavior are looked at and analyzed.

7 Waiting times Waiting times between appointments cannot be guaranteed. Under certain circumstances, such as illness or vacation absence, waiting times may be longer than usual. Normally, the learning breaks between private training sessions are set at two to four weeks.

8. responsibility of the dog owner Upon participation, it is automatically declared and confirmed that the dog is insured, free of parasites, adequately vaccinated and not currently infectious or unacceptably ill for teaching interactions. Any bacterial, viral or otherwise infectious disease is considered to be sick. A dog is also deemed to be ill if its condition would expose it to unreasonable stress during training.

9 Cancellation or postponement of appointments by the client Appointments made by the client may be postponed up to 24 hours before the agreed appointment for a valid reason. If an appointment is postponed within 24 hours or not attended for any reason, it will be recorded as attended and, if applicable, invoiced. The reason for cancellation or postponement has no influence on this clause.

10. the dog during lessons During individual lessons, the dog is initially on a meter leash. The dog will only be unleashed on the advice of the trainer (point 1 of the GTC applies). At the beginning of the lesson, the dog initially remains in the owner's vehicle. Unless otherwise agreed with the trainer, the dog is only to be let out of the vehicle on the meter leash. Each dog owner is responsible for his own dog.

11. passing on the learning content Passing on or even using the course content for your own commercial purposes is strictly prohibited and will be punished by law.

12. image and sound recordings Any image and/or sound recordings of the participants during the courses and seminars are only permitted after consultation with and with the written permission of Marc Welti. Damages or copyright infringements will be prosecuted. All photos and video recordings made during a lesson by Marc Welti or his team may be posted on the Internet and used for advertising purposes by mutual agreement.

13. making appointments Appointments are always made via the automatic appointment system in the member area or with the appointment link sent by Marc Welti Hundetraining.

14 Cancellation by the trainer The trainer can cancel or postpone a personal appointment, the group training sessions or the Zoom calls at any time. No money can be claimed for postponements or appointments missed by the trainer for various reasons.

15 Copyright All teaching material, in particular videos, scripts, PowerPoint and/or overhead presentations, etc., are subject to copyright protection, according to which reproduction and distribution is not permitted without the permission of the copyright holder. Any recording in image and/or sound is only permitted after consultation with Marc Welti. All course participants, customers or contractual partners undertake with the above registration, in particular in the case of their own training/teaching activities, when passing on and/or reproducing the training content or the theses, teachings and definitions conveyed by Marc Welti, to point out without exception that it is a teaching/thesis/definition originally developed by Mr. Welti. In the event of culpable failure to name the author, the contractual partners undertake to pay Mr. Welti any legal fees and court costs incurred and an appropriate contractual penalty of no less than 100 euros for each individual case of copyright infringement and each subsequent case resulting from this.

16. legal force If a point or sub-point of the GTC is not legally binding or loses its legal force in an individual case, the other points shall remain unaffected.
