About me
I am Marc Welti.
Trainer, coach and companion for all topics relating to you and your dog in everyday life. My aim is to pass on my knowledge and many years of experience in dog training to you - in a clear, practical and easy-to-implement way. I want to show you how you can build a genuine, harmonious relationship with your dog with clarity, structure and trust.
One of my greatest strengths is getting the best out of my clients and their dogs. As a coach, I will support you with all my practical and theoretical knowledge to help you achieve your goals with your dog. Thanks to my past as a professional ice hockey player, I am structured, disciplined and goal-oriented. These qualities characterize my training - it is logically structured, clearly comprehensible, reproducible and regularly delivers above-average results.
I live what I teach in my courses myself. The slogan "The dog off the leash" stands for what I embody - clarity, freedom, trust and responsibility. My clients are motivated dog owners who have a clear goal and share my attitude towards sensible, sustainable dog training. I am just as motivated: I really enjoy my work with people and dogs. My clients' success is always my own - because real change only happens when we achieve it together.

I have continuously optimized and developed my training over the years. I use all modern tools and methods to pass on my knowledge effectively and practically to my customers.
I came to work as a dog trainer more by chance, but it soon became my passion and calling. Animals, especially dogs and horses, have always fascinated me.
I had my first real contact with a dog when the German shepherd Arco came into our family as a puppy. I was still young, but even then I was able to watch my father train the dog carefully and learn a lot.
My story
I fulfilled my dream of one day having a great dog at my side with Zasko, a two-year-old male shepherd. But this dream initially turned into a nightmare. Zasko was completely out of control - barking incessantly in the car, pulling hard on the lead, chasing and even attacking other dogs. He did pretty much everything that the dog of my dreams shouldn't have done.
But it was precisely this situation that became my greatest teacher. Because Zasko forced me to go other ways, to deal intensively with dog behavior and to acquire a deep, practice-oriented knowledge that goes far beyond what is taught in classic dog schools.
Today, after more than 12 years of full-time professional experience and more than 6,000 accompanied human-dog teams at home and abroad, I pass on this knowledge with great passion. Together we develop a clear structure, achieve your goals and create a sustainable, trusting relationship - the dog off the leash.

"Dog training is about 3 things: Safety, freedom and fun. And indeed in this order."
Dog off leash at universities.
I am very pleased to regularly present my training concept "Dog off leash" at renowned educational institutions such as the University of Teacher Education St. Gallen and the Swiss Federal Institute for Vocational Education and Training.
In my lectures and seminars, I impart practical knowledge about clear communication, commitment and a modern, respectful human-dog relationship - directly from everyday life and with a view to the training of tomorrow.
