About me
I am a trainer, coach and consultant in all topics related to dogs in everyday life. My aim is to pass on my knowledge and many years of experience in dog training to as many people as possible through goal-oriented, effective coaching that everyone can understand.Â
My name is Marc Welti.
One of my strengths is getting the best out of my clients and their dogs. This means that as a coach I will accompany you on your journey with all my practical and theoretical knowledge and work with you to achieve your goals with your dog. I am a structured, clear-thinking person who is very disciplined and goal-oriented thanks to my past as a professional athlete. Accordingly, my training is logical, reproducible, understandable and practicable for everyone and regularly delivers above-average results.
Naturally, I exemplify what I pass on in my courses. The slogan "The dog off the leash" is what I embody and pass on to my clients in all aspects. My clients are highly motivated dog owners (or those who want to become one) who have a clear goal and share my attitude towards sensible dog training. I am just as motivated and enjoy my work with my clients and their dogs immensely. When my clients succeed, so do I.
I have continued to optimize and improve my training over the years. I use all the tools available in this day and age to successfully pass on my training to my clients. I came to my work as a dog trainer more by chance. I am passionate about dogs and horses. I had my first real contact with a dog when Arco, a German shepherd, came into our family as a puppy. I was still quite young, but I was able to learn a lot from my father when it came to dog training. I was able to fulfill my dream of having such a great dog at my side with Zasko, who was two years old at the time.
Unfortunately, the dream quickly turned into a nightmare. The male dog was out of control. Whether barking incessantly in the car, chasing, pulling on the lead or even attacking other dogs, he did pretty much everything that the dog of my dreams should not have done. But it is thanks to this unacceptable long-term situation that I have been able to work very successfully as a professional dog trainer, coach and consultant for almost 10 years now.
Zasko forced me to take a different path and acquire very in-depth knowledge about dog training that goes far beyond traditional dog training.
I am now very happy to pass on this knowledge and my experience with over 4000 dogs and their owners in Germany and abroad to you. Together we will achieve all your goals with your dog and build a lasting and great off-leash relationship.
"Dog training is about 3 things: Safety, freedom and fun. And indeed in this order."
